It’s been a very long time since I’ve done anything with the Social Web Dzine News Blog! I tell all my customers how important it is to keep their website current and up-to-date but yet I keep neglecting my own. I tell myself all the time that I’m too busy working and that I don’t have the time. But I know that it’s just as important to “work on” your business as it is to work in your business.
Every month my customers who are signed up for security and maintenance for their website also receive a monthly newsletter telling them about other tasks that I’m performing for them as well. Starting in October, I’m also going to give them additional information about other services which Social Web Dzine offers. Now I know that in a couple months I’m going to run out of services to blog about but I’m working on building a blog writing plan – so for now I’m going to get my services posted onto my blog and then soon I’ll have other ideas in place to write about.
Also included in my customers montly newsletter is information about other services I’ve performed on their website in addition to my monthly service package offerings. These are bonus services – just for my customers! On the 15th of every month I’m going to publish additional info about these bonus services and why they’re important.
For now, I Rose Fields, am comitting to writing 2 blog posts each month to be published on the 1st and 15th of each month. I will also create a blog writing plan that will help me stay on track and keep my blog updated. As many of you know, WordPress blog posts can be scheduled to be posted on specific dates – so I plan to get a head start and upload future blogs early that will be posted on the 1st and 15th of every month just in case any unexpected life stuff prevents me from getting the info online.
Check back on September 15th for the start of my blog writing committment. In that post, I’m going to outline the services which I offer to my website maintenance customers. Hey! It’s a start.
