Speaking at WordCamp Milwaukee

May 6, 2013 | WordPress | 1 Comment

WordCamp Milwaukee is coming back on June 8-9 and I’m excited to be one of the speakers this year.

Since spring has finally arrived in Wisconsin, I decided it was a perfect time to talk about doing some Spring Cleaning for Your WordPress Site. I’m going to give some ¬†easy to implement ideas with and without code.

If you have an interest in WordPress, WordCamp is a great place to learn alot of new information and meet other people involved in the WordPress community. I even have a coupon code to share with you that’ll save you $5 off the $25 weekend registration.

  1. Hi – and look forward to seeing you at the conference! I just read your MN wordcamp experience too – and I think I share some of the same sentiments. What’s interesting is the vibe that WordCamp gives off vs the traditional conferences. In my opinion, when I go to a ‘conference’ I want everything to be polished and smooth: a great place to learn lots, network, and feel like I got my money. For me, the WordCamp experience is a bit more relaxed (its obviously cheaper too!), but I like the mix in things I go to. I feel like the relaxed vibe allows for more conversations, and less trying to milk everything I can out of the sessions – more focus on the people.
